Crosslybot feature

Flexible cross-posting settings for every platform

Every target gets its own version of the post: with its own delay, signature, translation and filters. And for long texts, large videos, polls and buttons you decide in advance what to do — or the bot asks you.

Cross-posting is rarely one-to-one: VK needs its own signature, an English-speaking channel needs a translation, a photo community needs only posts with pictures, and a long text simply won’t fit into Max. In Crosslybot all of this is set up for each target separately, while the original post in the channel stays the same.

Settings live on two levels. In the target — how the post looks on a specific platform: delay, signature, AI, filters, link previews, watermark. In the project — what to do if a post doesn’t fit a platform: split a long text, turn a poll into text, skip a large video or ask you.

How it works

  1. 1

    Set up the target

In the project, open a target — the channel or group where posts go. That’s where delay, signature, AI, filters, link previews and watermark live.

  2. 2

    Set the project rules

In the project settings, under Content processing, choose what to do with long text, large videos, polls, buttons and reposts.

  3. 3

Keep Ask where you want to decide

If a post doesn’t fit a platform, the bot sends you a question with buttons in Telegram or Max. You can also answer in the project’s Operations section.

  4. 4

    Post as usual

Each target gets its own version of the post. The original post in the channel stays unchanged.

What you get

Delay

From zero up to 7 days for each target. While a post waits, edits in the source are picked up. More — “Smart delayed posting”.

Target signature

Your own text at the end of the post for each platform. The signature is added if it fits the platform limit; otherwise the post goes out without it.

AI processing

Translation, restyling and resizing the text — separately for each target. If AI fails, the post goes out unprocessed, doesn’t go out, or the bot asks — your choice.

Word and hashtag filter

Only posts that contain the right word, phrase, hashtag or emoji go to the target. Up to 50 items.

What to publish

All posts, only with media, only with photo and video, only with photos (no video) or only with text.

Forward frequency

From 1 to 100% of posts: at 50%, roughly every second post, picked at random, goes to the target.

Link previews

Preview cards under links can be hidden in Telegram and Max targets.

Watermark

A logo or caption on every photo — on the PRO plan and above. More — “Photo watermark”.

What to do if a post doesn’t fit a platform

Long text

  • Telegram: trim, split into several messages, shorten with AI, publish as a rich post or ask
  • VK, Max and OK: the same, except the rich post
  • Doesn’t fit due to formatting: strip markup, split, don’t publish or ask
  • Long media caption in Telegram: media and text separately, AI shortening, rich post, don’t publish or ask

Media and polls

  • Large video: text only, skip or ask
  • Polls where they aren’t supported: as text, skip or ask
  • Voice messages: as audio, skip or ask
  • Video notes: convert or skip

Buttons, reposts, AI

  • Buttons: remove, turn into text or ask; posts with buttons can be skipped altogether
  • Reposts: process or ignore
  • AI error: publish without processing, don’t publish or ask

FAQ

Are the settings shared by all platforms?

No. Delay, signature, AI, filters, link previews and watermark are set in each target separately. Only the “what to do if…” rules are shared by the project: long text, large video, polls, buttons, reposts, AI error.

What does Ask mean?

If a post doesn’t fit a platform, the bot sends a notification with the options. Until you answer, the target waits — up to an hour. You can answer with a button in the notification or in the project’s Operations section.

How is the word filter different from the ad filter?

The word filter of a target lets through only posts with the right words or hashtags. The ad filter does the opposite: it keeps sponsored posts out of all targets of the project.

How does forward frequency work?

For every post, the bot randomly decides whether to send it to the target, with the probability you set. With few posts, the distribution can be uneven.

Where does the target signature go when long text is split?

Into the last message. If the signature doesn’t fit the platform limit, the post is published without it.

Can I send only posts with photos to a target?

Yes, in What to publish choose Only with photos (no video). Posts with video, GIFs or video notes won’t go to this target.

Do the settings change the original post?

No. All settings change only the copy of the post that goes to the target.
