Stop publishing for an hour, overnight or on a weekly schedule. Posts from the source are not lost: they pile up in the queue and go out one by one, a minute apart, once the pause ends.

Scheduled pause in Crosslybot stops publishing for a while without losing posts. You can pause the whole project or one target channel, set a pause manually (a 1–5 hour preset or your own time up to 24 hours) or define a schedule: one-off windows for a specific date and weekly ones — for example, every night.
While the pause is on, new posts from the source pile up in the queue. When it ends or you press Resume, the posts go out in order, one minute apart. If nothing should be published during a window at all, choose Full stop mode in the schedule — such posts will be visible in Operations.
How it works

Open Pause management
Open the project in the app — it has the Now, Once and Weekly tabs. A quick pause can also be set in the bot with the /menu command.

Choose what to pause
The whole project or a single target channel. A channel pause applies in all your projects where that channel is connected.

Set the time
A 1–5 hour preset or your own number of minutes (up to 24 hours). For regular pauses, add windows to the schedule.

Posts go out on their own
While paused, posts pile up in the queue. When time is up (or you press Resume), they are published in order, a minute apart.
What you get
Single-channel pause
Stop publishing to one channel while the other targets keep working. The pause is set on the channel itself and applies in all your projects where it is connected.
One-off windows
Plan a pause in advance for a specific date and time — for example, around a sponsored post or a holiday. Windows up to 24 hours, in 5-minute steps.
Weekly schedule
Windows by day of the week — for example, every night or on weekends. Times are in your time zone; up to 200 windows per project.
Defer or full stop
Defer mode keeps posts and publishes them after the window. Full stop means posts during the window are not published; they show up in Operations on the Filtered tab with the reason “Scheduled pause”.
Control from the bot and via API
Pause for 1–5 hours, resume or stop a project with the /menu command in the Telegram and Max bots. For automations there are pause methods in the Webhook API and MCP.
FAQ
How is a project pause different from a channel pause?
A project pause stops publishing to all of its targets. A channel pause affects one target channel, but in all your projects where it is connected; other targets keep publishing as usual.
What if both the project and the channel are paused?
The post waits for the later of the two. Schedule windows and a manual pause only extend each other, never shorten.
What happens to posts during a pause?
Posts from the source are not lost: they are queued as scheduled. After the pause they are published automatically in the order they arrived, one minute apart. The exception is a schedule window in Full stop mode: posts during such a window are not published.
How long can a pause last?
A manual pause lasts from 1 minute to 24 hours: presets of 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 hours or your own number of minutes. A one-off schedule window is up to 24 hours, a weekly one fits within a single day, in 5-minute steps.
Can I lift a pause early?
Yes, press Resume on the project or channel page or in the bot. Queued posts start publishing right away, a minute apart.
When is AI processing applied to deferred posts?
At publishing time, after the pause. So AI processes the current version of the text.
Does importing old posts respect pauses?
No. Importing old posts publishes to targets regardless of project and channel pauses.
