Crosslybot feature

Ad filtering for cross-posting: erid, hashtags, stop words

Sponsored integrations stay in the original channel only. The bot checks every post against your rules and shows filtered ones in Operations — with the reason and a Publish button in case of a mistake.

Sponsored integrations are usually sold for one specific channel — and should not leak to VK, Max or OK. Crosslybot’s ad filter checks every new source post and does not send to targets the ones where at least one of your rules matched.

Nothing gets lost: a filtered post appears in Operations on the Filtered tab with a clear reason. If a rule fired by mistake, you can publish the post manually within 24 hours. Step-by-step setup — in the guide “How to filter ads during cross-posting”.

How it works

  1. 1

    Open the source settings

In the project, pick the source channel and find the Ad filtering section.

  2. 2

    Add rules

The erid marker, hashtags like #ad, your own words and phrases (up to 10) or ready-made rules: any links, @mentions, phone numbers, emails.

  3. 3

    Post as usual

A post that matches a rule does not go to any target of the project. Everything else is published as usual.

  4. 4

    Check the Filtered tab

In Operations, the Filtered tab shows which rule fired. A mistake? Press Publish within 24 hours.

What you get

erid marker

The advertising marker is found in the post text regardless of letter case — just turn the rule on.

Hashtags and your own words

#ad, #sponsored, “partner content” — up to 10 of your own words and phrases. Non-breaking and other special spaces do not break the match.

Ready-made rules

Filter out posts with any links (including links hidden behind text), @mentions, phone numbers or emails — with one switch.

See what was filtered and why

A filtered post does not vanish silently: Operations keeps a record with the reason, for example “Ad filter: found erid”.

Publish if the filter was wrong

The Publish button works for 24 hours after the post arrives, once per target. The current text goes out: if you have already fixed the post in the source, the fixed version is published.

Does not use your quota

Filtered posts do not count against your plan’s post limit and do not take a place in the queue.

FAQ

How does the bot decide that a post is sponsored?

Only by your rules: the erid marker, hashtags, your own words and phrases, plus ready-made rules for links, @mentions, phone numbers and emails. One match is enough — the post will not go to the project’s targets.

Where can I see filtered posts?

In the project, Operations → Filtered tab. It shows the time, the post text and the rule that fired.

The filter fired by mistake — what should I do?

Press Publish on that post within 24 hours — the filter is bypassed for this post only. To avoid repeats, adjust the rule: for example, replace a short word with a more precise phrase.

Do filtered posts use my plan’s quota?

No. The post limit is spent only on posts that are actually published.

Does the filter work for groups?

No, the ad filter works for source channels. It is disabled for Telegram and Max groups.

Can I select posts by words for one specific target?

Yes, use the word and hashtag filter in the target settings: only posts with the words you need go to that target. The ad filter applies to the whole project.

Which plan includes ad filtering?

Mini and above. Compare plans on the pricing page.
