Hidden links and plain URLs
The filter finds both links hidden behind words and addresses pasted right into the text.
Affiliate and outdated links won’t travel to VK, Max and OK. Set an address and an action — the bot removes the link or puts yours in every post for this target.
Channel posts often carry links that don’t belong on other platforms: affiliate addresses, referral codes, links to an old website. Crosslybot’s link filter handles them on every publication — it removes them or puts your address instead. The original post in the channel stays unchanged.
Rules are set separately for each target, so VK, Max, OK and other Telegram channels can get different versions of the links. Step-by-step setup — in the guide “How to filter links during cross-posting”.
In the project, pick a target — the channel or group where posts go — and find the Links filter section.
For example, https://partner.com. The rule matches this address and every page under it: https://partner.com/ref, https://partner.com/promo/1.
Remove — the link is dropped, and the word it was hidden behind stays as plain text. Replace with — enter your address, and it takes the place of the original one.
The rules apply to every post that goes to this target. The post in the source channel stays unchanged.
The filter finds both links hidden behind words and addresses pasted right into the text.
A link behind a word leaves the word in place, a plain URL disappears completely, and the extra spaces it leaves behind are collapsed.
Affiliate link → yours, old domain → new one. The link text is kept, only the address changes.
The scheme is ignored when matching: a rule with https also works for http links. Telegram posts mix both.
Rules live in the target settings: replace links for VK, remove them for Max and keep them as is in Telegram.
In VK and OK, links behind text are shown as “text (address)” — the brackets can be removed. Telegram and Max targets have a separate Hide link previews option.
No. If the link was hidden behind a word, the word stays in the post as plain text. Only a plain URL pasted into the text is removed completely.
Enter the site address, for example https://site.com — the rule works for https://site.com and any page under it, such as https://site.com/catalog/item. Subdomains like shop.site.com are a different address and need their own rule.
It is best to enter the full address, as the hint suggests: https://example.com. The scheme does not matter, though — a rule with https also matches http links.
The filter compares the address as is and does not follow redirects. To handle short links, add a rule for the shortener address, for example https://bit.ly.
There is no separate UTM cleanup. The Replace with rule puts your address in place of the original one entirely — together with all its parameters.
No, they are set in each target’s settings. The same link can be removed in one target, replaced in another and kept in a third.
The ad filter keeps the whole post out of the targets if it contains a link. The link filter publishes the post and changes only its links — according to your rules.
