How to Transfer Old Posts from Max to VK

How to set up
Create an intermediate Max channel
Create a new channel in Max — it will serve as a buffer for the transfer. The name doesn't matter, and the channel can be private. You can delete it after the transfer. Note that Max has its own requirements for creating channels.
Add the Crosslybot Max bot to the intermediate channel
Add the Crosslybot bot in Max to the intermediate channel and make it an administrator. You don't need to create a bot of your own — if you already use Crosslybot with Max, it's the same bot you added to your other channels.
Create a project in Crosslybot

Check the reposts setting

FAQ
Can I transfer only selected posts?
Yes, that's the main advantage of this method. You choose exactly which posts to forward to the intermediate channel and simply skip the ones you don't need.
What about albums (several photos in one post)?
An album is forwarded as a single message. Crosslybot processes it and publishes it to VK as one post with several photos or videos. Make sure you forward the whole album.
Does the transfer use my plan's limit?
Yes, each transferred post counts as a regular publication and uses your plan's limit. Keep this in mind when planning the volume of the transfer.
Do I need to delete the intermediate channel afterwards?
It's not required, but recommended to avoid confusion. Once the transfer is complete, you no longer need the intermediate channel and can safely delete it.
Will text formatting be preserved in VK?
No. VK community posts don't support text formatting, so bold, italic and other Max formatting are not preserved — the text is published without formatting. Links are kept as 'text (url)', and hashtags transfer as they are.
