Bot Can't See Max Channel — What to Do?

How to set up
Link your Max account
Open the Crosslybot app → 'Max Channels' section → 'Link Max Account'. Follow the link to Max and confirm the connection. Without linking accounts, the bot cannot show your channels.
Add the bot to your channel
Open your Max channel → Settings → Subscribers → add the Crosslybot bot. Then promote it to administrator with 'Write posts' permissions. The bot must be an administrator.
Click 'Refresh'
In the Crosslybot app → 'Max Channels' section → click 'Refresh'. The bot will re-check all channels where it's an administrator.
Forward a message from the channel
If the channel still doesn't appear — open the Max channel, take any message and forward it to the Crosslybot Max bot in a direct message. The bot will automatically detect the channel and add it to your list.
Contact support
If nothing works — contact support through the app (Settings → Support). Include the channel name or link.

Max account not linked
The most common issue. Crosslybot only shows channels for users whose Max accounts are linked. Go to 'Max Channels' and click 'Link Account'.
Bot not added as administrator
The Crosslybot bot must be added to the channel as an administrator with publishing rights. Just being a subscriber is not enough.
Max API didn't return the channel
The Max API sometimes doesn't return the complete list of channels. This is a known platform behavior. Forwarding a message from the channel to the bot reliably solves this issue.
Bot added before account linking
If the bot was added to the channel before you linked your Max account, the channel may not appear automatically. Click 'Refresh' or forward a message from the channel.
