Project copying in Crosslybot duplicates an existing project with a single “Copy project” button. Active sources and targets are carried over with all their settings — signatures, AI, filters, delays, link rules, word replacement and watermark — together with the project-wide settings.
The copy appears paused, so it publishes nothing ahead of time: replace the source or a target, adjust the settings you need and turn the project on. Posts, operations and history stay in the original project.

The project owner can copy it in the app or the web version.

Before copying, Crosslybot checks that your plan limits allow one more project and its targets.

The copy is created paused. Replace the source or a target, adjust AI or the signature.

When everything is ready, turn the project on — it starts working like any other.

What exactly is copied?
The project's active sources and targets with all their settings (signatures, AI, filters, delays, link rules, word replacement, footer trimming, watermark), plus project-wide settings: delay and handling of reposts, long text, large videos and polls.
What is not copied?
Posts, operations and publishing history, co-authors, the pause schedule and the current pause. Disabled sources and targets are not carried over either.
What status does the copy have?
Paused. This way the copy does not start publishing to the same channels until you change what you need.
Do plan limits apply?
Yes. A copy is a new project with the same targets, so you need a free project slot and room for its targets. If there is not enough, the app shows how much is needed and the copy is not created. Compare limits on the pricing page.
Who can copy a project?
Only the project owner. Co-authors can see the project but cannot copy it.
Why copy instead of creating a new project?
To avoid setting everything up from scratch: for example, to make the same project for another source channel, or to try a new AI setting on a copy without touching the working project.
