In Telegram and Max — bold, italic, links, quotes, code. VK and OK do not support formatting, so they get clean text: links become “text (address)”, and links to VK pages become mentions.

Every platform has its own rules: Max limits videos to 250 MB, VK and OK do not show formatting, URL buttons exist only in Telegram and Max, and only OK accepts a poll as a poll. Crosslybot knows these rules and checks every post for every target — you do not have to keep them in mind.
What a platform accepts goes out unchanged. What it does not is adapted the way you set: a poll becomes text, a button becomes a link, long text is split into parts. And if you prefer to decide yourself, the bot will ask and wait for your answer.

What you get
Albums and video
An album of up to 10 photos and videos goes out as one post. Each platform has its own video limit: up to 250 MB in Max, up to 1 GB in OK. A video over the limit can be published as text, skipped or decided via the bot’s question.
Long text and captions
Does not fit the limit? Split into several messages, shorten with AI or (for Telegram) publish as a rich post. A Telegram media caption longer than 1,024 characters can be sent as a separate message.
Polls and buttons
A poll goes to OK as a real poll and to Telegram, VK and Max as text with answer options. URL buttons stay buttons in Telegram and Max; in VK and OK they turn into a link in the text or are removed — as you choose.
Voice, video notes, stickers
A voice message can be published as audio or skipped, a video note — as a regular video or removed. Regular stickers go to Max and VK as images. OK does not accept audio, voice messages and documents — the bot removes them from the post.
Telegram articles
A Telegram article goes to a Telegram target as an article, and to other platforms as a regular post with text and media. Tables, checklists and headings follow the project settings.
FAQ
Which content types can be cross-posted?
Formatted text, photos, videos, GIFs, albums (up to 10 media), documents, audio, voice messages, video notes, stickers, polls, URL buttons and Telegram articles. From a Max channel, text, photos, videos, audio and files are transferred.
What happens if a platform does not support a content type?
The bot does what you set in the project: adapts it (for example, a poll as text, a voice message as audio), skips the post for that target or asks you. The question arrives in the bot with buttons, and you can also answer in the Operations section. You have an hour to answer.
What is the maximum video size?
It depends on the platform: up to 250 MB in Max, up to 1 GB in OK, up to 2,000 MB in Telegram. If a video exceeds the target’s limit, the bot publishes the text without the video, skips the post or asks — per your setting.
Is text formatting preserved?
In Telegram and Max — yes: bold, italic, underline, strikethrough, links, quotes and code. VK and OK do not display formatting, so they get neat plain text with links.
What about long posts?
Text limits: Telegram — 4,096 characters (1,024 in a media caption), Max — 4,000, VK — 15,895, OK — 16,000. If a post is longer, the bot splits it into several messages, shortens it with AI or (for Telegram) publishes it as a rich post — whichever you choose.
Are polls transferred?
To OK — as a real poll. To Telegram, VK and Max the bot publishes the poll as text: the question and numbered options. You can also skip such posts or decide each time.
What is not transferred?
Contacts, locations, games, stories and dice from Telegram, as well as contacts, stickers and locations from Max. If the message contains nothing else, no post is created.
Can I send only posts with photos to a target?
Yes, the target settings have a content filter: only posts with media, only with photos or videos, only with photos, or only with text. Other posts will not go to that target — and will show up in Operations with the reason.
