Import Old Posts from Telegram to VK

Automatically transfer your Telegram channel history to a VK community.

How to set up

1

Create a project in Crosslybot

Open @CrosslyBot in Telegram and create a new project. Set your Telegram channel as the source and your VK community as the target.

2

Activate the project

Enable the project and make sure the VK target is connected and active.

3

Open the 'Import Old Posts' section

Go to the source settings of your project. Below the channel settings, you'll see the 'Import Old Posts' block.

4

Paste links to the first and last post

Open your Telegram channel, find the first and last posts you want to import, copy their links (right-click → Copy Message Link), and paste them into the form.

5

Start the import

Click 'Import'. The bot will go through the entire range, collect albums, skip deleted messages, and publish posts to VK. Progress is displayed in real time.

FAQ

How many posts can I import at once?

The maximum range is 1000 messages. Not all of them will be real posts — deleted and service messages are skipped automatically.

Does it use my plan's post limit?

Yes, each imported post counts as a regular publication and uses your plan's limit.

Are albums preserved?

Yes, albums (multiple photos/videos in one post) are collected correctly and published as a single post in VK.

Can I stop the import?

Yes, you can click 'Cancel' at any time. Already imported posts will be preserved.

Transferring old posts from Telegram to VK is now fully automated. No need to create intermediate channels or forward posts manually — just specify the range and Crosslybot will do the rest.

How It Works

You provide links to the first and last post in your Telegram channel. Crosslybot goes through the entire range, extracts content from each post (text, photos, videos, albums, polls, buttons) and publishes them to your VK community.

Benefits of Automatic Import

  • No intermediate channel — direct import from source to target.
  • Albums collected correctly — multiple media in one post are handled as a single publication.
  • Deleted messages skipped — no issues with empty IDs in the range.
  • Real-time progress — see how many posts are imported, skipped, and remaining.
  • Limit control — the system checks your available limit before starting and warns if it might run out.

Manual Method

If you need selective transfer (only specific posts), use the intermediate channel method — it allows you to manually choose which posts to transfer.
