Import Old Posts from Telegram to Max

Automatically transfer your Telegram channel history to Max.

How to set up

1

Create a project in Crosslybot

Open @CrosslyBot in Telegram and create a new project. Set your Telegram channel as the source and your Max channel as the target.

2

Activate the project

Enable the project and make sure the Max target is connected and active.

3

Open the 'Import Old Posts' section

Go to the source settings of your project. Below the channel settings, you'll see the 'Import Old Posts' block.

4

Paste links to the first and last post

Open your Telegram channel, find the posts and copy their links (right-click → Copy Message Link). Paste them into the form.

5

Start the import

Click 'Import'. The bot will go through the range, collect albums, skip deleted messages, and publish posts to Max. Progress is displayed in real time.

FAQ

How many posts can I import at once?

The maximum range is 1000 messages. Deleted and service messages are skipped automatically.

Does it use my plan's post limit?

Yes, each imported post counts as a regular publication.

Are albums preserved?

Yes, albums are collected correctly and published as a single post in Max.

Can I stop the import?

Yes, the 'Cancel' button is available at any time.

Automatic import allows you to transfer your Telegram channel history to Max without manual forwarding. Specify the post range — Crosslybot handles everything else.

How It Works

You provide links to the first and last post. Crosslybot goes through the range, extracts content (text, photos, videos, albums, buttons) and publishes to your Max channel.

Benefits

  • No intermediate channel — direct import from source to target.
  • Albums collected correctly — multiple media handled as a single publication.
  • Deleted messages skipped — no issues with empty IDs.
  • Real-time progress — track imported and skipped posts online.
  • Limit control — warning if limit might run out, with option to continue.

Manual Method

For selective transfer, you can manually forward specific posts through an intermediate channel.
